Under the Asian Sun is more than just a series of letters — it’s the true testimony of a journey that began with an unexpected diagnosis, fear pounding in my chest, and yet… a promise even louder: not to stop living.

One ordinary day, my world came to a halt. A cancer diagnosis arrived without warning, like a silent earthquake shaking everything. My plans, my dreams, even my voice — literally — were put on pause. But once I could breathe again, I made a choice: I wouldn’t wait for “the perfect moment.” Life, exactly as it is — with its shadows and its light — deserved to be lived fully.

So with uncertainty on my back and hope as my compass, I set out alone to the other side of the world.
Thailand, Bali, Indonesia, and Australia became the stage for my transformation. In every step, in every letter, you’ll find not only landscapes and adventures — but pieces of a heart slowly rebuilding. Maybe it’ll help mend a piece of yours too.
